The aim of this workshop is to provide a forum for researchers working on algorithms and the theory of computation, to promote the exchange of recent results, to foster new collaborations among researchers. Historically, the workshop has established for the purpose of collaboration of researchers of Japan and Korea; however, participation from any country is welcome.
The workshop is sponsored by a research project entitled "New Horizons in Computing" (supported by a Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research on Priority Areas of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan) in cooperation with the Special Interest Group on Theoretical Computer Science (SIGTCS) of Korean Information Society, the Technical Committee on Computation (COMP) of the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers, and the Special Interest Group on Algorithms (SIGAL) of the Information Processing Society of Japan.

Deadline of the submission is May 28, 2006. The authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection by June 1, 2006.
The submitted extended abstract is directly used for the digest of papers of this workshop, if it is accepted, and

The authors are therefore requested to prepare the extended abstracts very carefully. We expect that most participants will submit full version of their papers to some conference or journals, independently of this workshop.
