  ［概要］
     Arbitration plays an important role in conflict resolution. The effect
     of arbitration on conflict resolution heavily depends on arbitration
     procedure. Even if disputants do not agree in bargaining process, 
     they may reach an agreement in arbitration process if we use a 
     suitable arbitration procedure. 
     A good procedure is supposed to be strong in inducing disputants to
     reach an agreement on their own.  In this view, we evaluate several
     arbitration procedures. One of them is called double-offer arbitration, 
     which was proposed by IBARAKI-laboratory this year.
